​葉欣 Yan Ip

Graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, Yan Ip is a multi-media artist. She is also the founder and administrator of Plastic Thing. Inspired by classic paper dolls, the artist accentuates the distinctive printing texture through simple lines and bright colors. Assimilating the new into the old, the goddess matches modern make-up with retro-styling, turning herself into a paper doll in the 70s and 80s. Besides IP development, Whateversmiles is trying to bring Yan’s arts to more exhibitions.
